We are a 27-acre, 501(c)3 non-profit nature preserve that is run entirely by volunteers. One of our primary goals is to protect and restore the natural beauty of Clear Creek in Redding, CA. We offer a variety of day-use activities like hiking and picnicking, as well as free interpretive events in the spring and fall. We hope you enjoy your visit!

Children are welcome at all of our events, and all events are free of charge.

All events (unless otherwise noted) will meet at the HCCP parking area on Clear Creek Road, just west of the Clear Creek Bridge.

    Find Your Destination

    Explore the wide variety of native and introduced plant life within the preserve.

    There are 4 different trails to choose from, ranging from .6 to 1.3 miles, for all abilities.

    Trail maintenance, Adopt-A-Highway cleanup, and board meetings are a few ways to get involved.

    All donations are tax-deductible under 501(c)3. We accept PayPal and Thrivent.
